Job Description:
Cregger Company Central Distribution Center is seeking experienced professionalCDL ClassAdelivery driver who prides themselves on high standards of quality, safety, and customer service to join our team. The CDL Driver will safely drive a company commercial vehicle(tractor trailer)on established route(s)andassist in unloading product and render customer service to Cregger Company store locations. The drivers schedule will consist of road, solo, same day runs five times a week. The weekly schedule begins Monday for consecutive 5 days. A schedule is made up of routes within these daysand may fluctuate during holiday weeks. The driver must be willing to perform on-demand deliveries and warehouse work when no regular deliveries are scheduled. Estimated 50 hours per week (+/- 5 hours depending on conditions, traffic, etc.) Job Duties:
Ensures delivery vehicles and equipment is operated safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow DOT regulations and company safety policies. Responsible for accurate material handling practices to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist in day-to-day functions of warehouse execution as needed. Operate in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment. Job Requirements:
Class A CDL w/HazMatH Endorsement Certification Must be 21 or older. Must have and maintain a valid class A commercial license. Able to lift up to 50 lbs., frequently perform heavy pushing/pulling of product. Must meet the defined MVR standards at all times to remain qualified to drive company commercial motor vehicle. Loading and Unloading experience preferred Fork lift experience preferred Must be able to pass a DOT physical and a controlled substance test in accordance with FMCSR Key Skills/Attributes Required:
