Administrative Legal Assistant

A Boutique tax law firm is seeking a Receptionist/Legal Assistant for their Irmo, South Carolina office.
Qualifications:
Candidate must enjoy & thrive working in a busy professional office environment,
Must be extremely organized, outgoing, detail oriented and are excellent at multitasking,
Must be energetic, self-motivated and excel at dealing with the public.
Must have outstanding social skills that will be utilized on a daily basis to interact with clients and potential clients both on the phone and in person.
(Receptionist skills TEST will be given)
Must answer phones & greet clients with a smile because you are the initial contact for the law office and must be able to represent the office in a positive, courteous, comforting and professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years law firm experience (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Type 50+ wpm (Typing skills TEST will be given)
Proven ability to see projects through to completion with little supervision
Responsible for answering phones on the first ring
Perform client intake and follow up
Attorney scheduling
Prepare legal documents & letters
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Manage notes and documents in our internal case management software.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
