CMA/RMA with experience for Medical Specialty Practice

Kudzu Medical is looking for an Experienced CMA / RMA for a specialty medical practice in the midlands of South Carolina.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Credentialed & Experienced Medical Assistants OR those with 5
years clinical experience ONLY considered for this position.
Position requires travel to office in Irmo, Columbia, and Sumter weekly - with mileage reimbursement from 'home base' office. Those without their own reliable transportation will not be considered.
Clear national background check, clean sex offender registry check, and clear urine drug screen required.
Ability to communicate orally and in written format with correct grammar, diction, and punctuation required & will be evalated during screening process.
Self-starter, team-player, and independently able to meet all deadlines and requirements daily.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Takes vitals on all patients
Records HPI's in EMR system
Takes patient to exam room
Assists provider in room with assessment
Start IV for patients (only with IV therapy designation)
Performs urine drug screen as needed
Performs blood draws as needed (only with CPT designation)
Reports to clinic coordinator at scheduled time, date and location
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
